POSITIVE FEEDBACK LOOP OF ADHESION DISEASE: FIBRIN AND OTHERS

چکیده

Adhesion disease is a common complication of abdominal operations, which often manifested by acute adhesion obstruction the intestine with high rate recurrence on surgical treatment. Mechanical damage to peritoneum, leads uncontrolled leakage blood from damaged vessels and formation clots loss fibrin at site damage, recognized as leading trigger disease. The stability formed adhesions, their ability grow regenerate are in conflict known data mechanisms hemostasis system. The latter, known, consists two divergent activation cascades, ensure blocking hemorrhage case due clot its subsequent splitting into large soluble blocks. An imbalance between coagulation fibrinolytic links system causes various functional complications. adhesions can be considered an extreme example such imbalance. This search for reasons inefficiency relation deposits adhesions.
aim work: study structure using histological methods infrared spectroscopy.
Results discussion. It shown that peritoneum complex protein cellular components. component collagen, difference these proteins native one pronounced content β-structured aggregates noted. mainly represented fibroblasts - main cells connective tissue synthesize elastin, proteoglycans glycoproteins. Such composition ensures resistance fibrinolysis regenerate.

Amplification of dopaminergic signaling by a positive feedback loop.

Dopamine and cAMP-regulated phosphoprotein of M(r) 32,000 (DARPP-32) plays an obligatory role in most of the actions of dopamine. In resting neostriatal slices, cyclin-dependent kinase 5 (Cdk5) phosphorylates DARPP-32 at Thr-75, thereby reducing the efficacy of dopaminergic signaling. We report here that dopamine, in slices, and acute cocaine, in whole animals, decreases the state of phosphoryl...

Positive Feedback in a Brainstem Tactile Sensorimotor Loop

The trigeminal loop in the brainstem comprises the innermost level of sensorimotor feedback in the rat vibrissa system. Anatomy suggests that this loop relays tactile information from the vibrissae to the motoneurons that control vibrissa movement. We demonstrate, using in vitro and in vivo recordings, that the trigeminal loop consists of excitatory pathways from vibrissa sensory inputs to vibr...

Fibrotic extracellular matrix activates a profibrotic positive feedback loop.

Pathological remodeling of the extracellular matrix (ECM) by fibroblasts leads to organ failure. Development of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is characterized by a progressive fibrotic scarring in the lung that ultimately leads to asphyxiation; however, the cascade of events that promote IPF are not well defined. Here, we examined how the interplay between the ECM and fibroblasts affects ...

Floral organ abscission is regulated by a positive feedback loop.

Abscission is the process by which plants shed unwanted organs, either as part of a natural developmental program or in response to environmental stimuli. Studies in Arabidopsis thaliana have elucidated a number of the genetic components that regulate abscission of floral organs, including a pair of related receptor-like protein kinases, HAESA and HAESA-like 2 (HAE/HSL2) that regulate a MAP kin...
